Day 2:June 14th- Philadelphia/Fort McHenry

Today, at the first actual day of our East Coast Trip, we visited Philadelphia, with its sights like the Libertyville Bell and the Independence Hall. Both of these places are important spots that wrote big part of American history. It was a special feeling to be there, where once the independent United States were found. After that we went to Fort McHenry in Baltimore, where we learned about the original origin of the first lines of the National Anthem of the United States and about what Americans associate with the Star Spangled Banner. I think it is really important to learn about and to experience the American patriotism.
Eventually we left to go to our next stay at Washington.
Overall I think everybody had a great day, where everybody learned something about the proud American history. In my opinion a great start into a great two weeks
